Globetrotting Dominicana LLC is a minority and woman owned impact tourism company based in New York City that provides international education programs and eco-tours in the Dominican Republic that support the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030. These tours are decolonized, non-extractive, non-performative, sustainable, and ethical. Our business model is centered on impact tourism which means that we are committed to making a low impact on the environment and the local culture while at the same time giving back to the community. We provide our partners with donations to cover the cost of equipment, programming, and community projects that support environmental protection.

The ecotours are aimed at adventure and nature travelers who want to buy local and experience the Dominican Republic culture and nature outside of the resorts. The goal is to highlight beautiful pristine areas, support local communities, and fight the stigma of dangers in the island. The international education programs were created to fill a market need of professional development and exposure that focuses on the intersection of climate change, economic development, and sustainable tourism for students enrolled in accredited universities and sustainability professionals.
